OMD Chalice Lighters
The Chalice Lighter's Program was created to assist congregations with projects by providing a small amount of financial assistance to them. The program consists of two parts. Congregations or clusters who submit grant proposals for projects that fit the guidelines and individuals who contribute financially to help the projects become a reality. Applications are received and reviewed quarterly, and a call is sent out to all those who have signed up for the program. The following congregations have been receipients of Chalice Lighter calls in the OMD. Congregations and clusters apply for a grant for a specific project. In exchange, congregations are required to provide us with reports and information about their project so we can report that to our congregations. These reports have been included in several OMD Up Close issues. (October 2011, March 2011)
