The Liberal Religious Educators' Association or LREDA, is a group of religious educators, ministers of religious education, youth advisors and those who support and think that religious education is important in our churches. The OMD Chapter welcomes anyone who meets the requirements of membership of the national LREDA organization.
You can find information about LREDA, its membership requirements and its work at the LREDA website at www.uua.org/lreda
The mission of the OMD LREDA chapter is to encourage the professional development and spiritual growth of religious educators in the district. To do this we will provide support for each other, and networking and structured learning opportunities. We will encourage good professional practices in accord with the LREDA guidelines and be advocates for religious educators in the district.
The current president of the OMD LREDA Chapter is Kathy Strawser.
