Each year volunteers of all types and with a variety of skills fill our committees, plan our district events and serve as elected officials. We need more of these wonderful volunteers to make things happen in our district. If you want to be part of a team that is making a difference in our faith, this is your chance!
The Nominating Committee of the Ohio Meadville District is responsible for bringing a slate of candidates for the OMD Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee at each District Annual Business Meeting and the District Assembly. For 2008 that will include the positions of president, vice president and several trustee positions. Some of the folks in these positions are eligible to run for re-election, others are not.
In addition to our elected positions, we have volunteer positions open on just about all our committees, from Lifespan Faith Development, Personnel and Finance to Leadership Development, District Assembly Planning Committee, Annual Program Fund Committee, Winter Institute Committee.
