Resource Development Team
The resource development team of the OMD oversees the fundraising of the district. They oversee the Chalice Lighter program, recommending to the board one applicant each quarter. They also oversee the Friends of the OMD program and other grant programs as they come up. In addition, they educate congregations about the need to be fair share to the UUA Annual Program Fund and OMD District Dues and provide for congregations who meet this goal to be recognized.
Please note that at the 2011 Annual Meeting, the delegates voted to increase district dues 50 cents per year for the next three years. The OMD and UUA APF Fair Share Amounts Per Member are listed below:
| Fiscal Year | OMD Amount Per Member |
UUA APF Amount Per Member |
| 2010-11 (current year) | $21.50 | $56.00 |
| 2011-12 | $22.00 | $58.00 |
| 2012-13 | $22.50 | TBA |
| 2013-14 | $23.00 | TBA |
The calculation of dues is based on the membership reported to the UUA the previous February (ie the membership reported on February 2011 will be used to calculate the total fair share amount of a congregation for 2011-12).

Thank You Fair Share Congregations
The Board, Staff and Resouce Development Team of the Ohio-Meadville District wish to thank those congregations who are fair share to the UUA's Annual Program Fund and the OMD's District Fund, and those who are making an effort to become fair share.
Fair share congregations pay the full amount per certifed congregation member. For 2010-11 for the UUA Annual Program Fund the amount is $56 per member, for the OMD Fund, the amount is $21.50 per member.
We are very proud to announce that 59% of our congregation were fair share for fiscal year 2009-10 for the UUA Annual Program Fund and 82% (an increase of 5%!) of our congregations were fair share for fiscal year 2009-10 to the Ohio-Meadville District. In addition, the West Virginia congregations continue to make West Virginia our only Full Fair Share State. Additional congregations received Merit recognition for giving 20% more than the previous fiscal year as they work towards becoming fair share.
"Full Fair Share" Congregations are those who pay their fair share to both the APF and OMD Funds.
