The Welcoming Congregation Program is a completely volunteer program for congregations that see a need to become more inclusive towards bisexual, gay, lesbian, and/or transgender people. It consists of a series of workshops developed by the UUA. The goal of the workshops is to reduce prejudice by increasing understanding and acceptance among people of different sexual orientations.  A second level of this program, called "Living the Welcoming Congregation" for congregations who have become welcoming congregations is also available.

To learn about the history of the Welcoming Congregations program, how the program works, find resources and to learn more about UU involvement in GBLT issues please visit the UUA website's Welcoming Congregations Program page.
