Olmsted UU Congregation, 1/3 time Director of Religious Education

The Olmsted Unitarian Universalist Congregationis seeking a dynamic Director of Religious Education to continue our excellent program. We are seeking a one-third time (approximately 13.5 hrs. per week) DRE. We currently offer an excellent program with a vibrant youth group and we offer OWLto both teens and children. We are a historic congregation in the City of North Olmsted with a continuous church presence since 1834.

Goal of the DRE position: Develop and administer religious education for children and youth in our small congregation which includes 25 children and youth within the religious education program

Qualifications Include:

Training and experience in Unitarian Universalist religious education (preferred)
B.A. degree in education or related field (preferred)
Possess professional and caring interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Starting Salary: $9,200
Professional Expenses: $500
