The Ohio-Meadville District has three scholarship funds to benefit members and congregations of the district. The District Assembly and Conference Scholarship Fund, the Melanie Pescan Memorial Scholarship Fund for Summer Institute and the Donald K Evans Theological Scholarship Fund.

The District Assembly and Conference Scholarship Fund provides funds for those who are economically disadvantaged members of district congregations to attend trainings in the district and in some cases, the Central East Region. Examples of trainings this fund can be used for include: Renaissance Modules, Our Whole Lives Trainings, Chaplain Training, Basic Youth Advisor Training, District Assembly, Anti-Racism Trainings, and Stewardship Training. The current policy allows for a full scholarship less $5 for events under $50 in fee and a half scholarship for events over $50 in fee. Applications are available from the district office. Deadlines are posted with each event and usually coincide with early bird registration deadlines. To donate, please fill in the information below. The Melaine Pescan Memorial Scholarship Fund for Summer Institute. Summer Institute is the OMD's week long summer camp at Kenyon College. To learn more about this event, Summer Institute Website. SI accepts donations to their scholarship fund so they can help everyone be able to attend this great week of camp. The fund is named for Melanie Pescan, who had attended and worked as a member of the planning committee for years and recently lost her battle with cancer. Donald K Evans Memorial Theological Scholarship Fund provides financial support to women and men who wish to study to become Unitarian Universalists ministers. This fund is administered by the OMD UU Minister's Association Chapter. You can learn more about this fund and how it is administered from the Evans Fund page.
