Titles of programs/sermons and a brief statement of content on each:

  • What If Eve Came First - Questions what our world would be like if it was matriarchal in orientation and if such an orientation would make a substantive difference.
  • Were You There? - A personal look at December 7, 1941, the responses of organized religion to World War II, the responses of individual UUs to the war, through the denomination, etc.
  • Hymns and Other Melodies Along My Way - How music, sacred and secular, has played a part in my life, including conversion to UUism, and now they sustain me.
  • Some Thoughts on Aging - Just that, together with a reminder of UU principle one and aging.
  • An Artist's Way - A sermon that starts by exploring Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way" and "The Vein of Gold" and then becomes a personal statement of this artist's journey and a please for integrated living.

Availability:  Spring, Summer or Fall and within 150 miles of Sunbury, OH, unless part of a longer planned trip.

Home Hospitality: Needed if any distance is involved.

Fee arrangements: Actual exchange of pulpits if nearby or mileage at 15 cents per mile if further away.
