Each year volunteers of all types and with a variety of skills fill our committees, plan district events and serve as elected officials. We need more of these wonderful volunteers to make things happen in our district. If you want to be part of a team that is making a difference in our faith, this is your chance!
Are you a congregational leader finishing your term and looking for something new to do?
Do you have skills you have learned through leadership work that you want to stretch and use?
Are you looking for a new challenge in your life?
Do you like organizing events, planning workshops and being part of a team?
Do you want to contribute something to the Unitarian Universalist faith?
You could be what we need in the OMD!
The Nominating Committee of the Ohio Meadville District is responsible for bringing a slate of candidates for the OMD Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee at each District Annual Business Meeting and the District Assembly. For each year, that means a slate of 1 trustee, 2 of the officer positions and 2 or 3 members of the nominating committee.
In addition to our elected positions, we have volunteer positions open on just about all our committees, from Lifespan Faith Development, Leadership Development Team, Resource Development Team, District Assembly Planning Committee, Young Adult Ministry Team and more.
We also have occasion to recruit for specific volunteer leadership positions. When those positions come available, they will be listed on our Job Openings Page.
If you are interested in serving the district in some capacity, please contact District Administrator, Beth Casebolt and she will help you connect with the committee or group your skills and interests are the best match for.
