The Young Adult Ministry Team has been awarded $1500 to offer The Young Adult Road Show this year.
The Young Adult “Road Show” is a two-day workshop and worship event that will bring together young adults and older adults from a cluster of congregations to engage in conversation about ministry with/about/for/by young adults. This weekend event will include a workshop on Saturday, followed by a worship service at one of the cluster churches on Sunday morning. Workshop participants will be actively involved in the planning and implementation of that worship service.
The Grant Request is to pay expenses and a stipend to a young adult to compile the data and write a report of the 2-day event, and then take those findings and create a document, a “How To” manual for replicating this type of multigenerational engagement across the UUA.
Congratulations to the Team and their staff person, Michelle Buhite, on receiving their grant. Details on the program will be posted shortly.
