What is Our Whole Lives Training of Teachers?
This is a training for those who are planning to teach the Our Whole Lives Curriculum in their congregation. This particular training focuses on the curricula for junior and senior highs, grades 7-9 and 10-12.
What is the cost & the deadlines?
Cost is $250 per participant and includes meals during the training. A registration fee of $125 is due with the registration form to hold your position. Deadline for registrations is April 22. Space is still available - Additional registrations are being accepted to a cap of 20 until May 11th.
Some partial scholarships will be available to OMD participants with severely limited funds. Please contact the district office for details, you cna request a form on the registration form. Deadline for scholarship applications is April 22nd. Deadline for scholarship applications is April 22nd.
What is included: Cost includes Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch.
Housing: Some home hospitality is available, requests are due by April 22nd and will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are many hotels in the area for housing options. You can see what is close by clicking this link.
Schedule: Participants must attend the entire training. Registration begins at 1 pm on Friday. Training will be Friday from 1:30 pm to 9 pm; Saturday from 9:30 am to 9 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:45 pm.
Please note that this training does not include providing the curriculum books for the age level you will be teaching. Please bring your curriculum with you.
Cancellation policy: A $125 cancellation fee will be retained after April 22nd, unless you can find a replacement for your spot.
Please note that is we do not have enough registrants to make this training go by April 22nd, we will cancel it, so do not wait to register.
