The following webinars are being hosted by our district staff for specific groups in the district:
OMD President's Round Table ~ This webinar is hosted by the District Executive, Rev. Joan Van Becelaere on a monthly basis. The group meets each month through May. Topics are determined by the group each month. Instructions on how to access the webinar are sent out on the OMD President's Email List. If you would like to participate in this webinar and are not a congregational president or vice president, please contact Rev. Van Becelaere. The dates for 2012-13 are being adjusted each month to accommodate different schedules. Dates as they are set will be posted below:
- Tuesday, February 28th, 7:30 pm. ~ Topic: One of the challenges facing congregational leaders is inviting and equipping new people into leadership. Rev. Renee Ruchotzke the Central East Regional Group Leadership Development Consultant, will join us for a discussion about what your congregation’s leadership development needs are, what resources are already available and what resources might be developed to meet future needs.
UU Justice Ohio on the Move ~ April 2, 2013, 7-8:30 pm.
The UUJO Steering Committee will report on our campaign for Immigrant Friendly Cities, Columbus lobbying for Medicaid Expansion and LGBT rights, as well as other action priorities. UUJO Congregational and individual members will also have an opportunity to comment on proposed dues and bylaws for the network to be presented for a vote at the annual meeting in October. Requests for additional items to be discussed should be addressed to uujo at ohiomeadville.org
