The May call goes to support the purchase of audio visual equipment and to build a recording station in the sanctuary to allow First UU Church of Indiana to start recording worship services for outreach.

Drawing from a broad geographic area, with some members traveling as much as an hour to attend services on Sundays, the First UU Church of Indiana is starting a satellite ministry program. This program will set up satellite churches in Johnstown, PA, Altoona, PA and DuBois, PA. The first phase will be to build a recording station in the sanctuary equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment to create a successful ministry program. Members of the congregation will be trained on the equipment. The worship services recorded will be used to support the satellite ministry program as well as provide for homebound members. It is anticipated that this program will grow the congregation by as much as 100% or more by 2015.
